Housing Support Worker – 2 full time posts, 1 part time

Salary: £20,000 pa (pro rata for part time)
37.5 hours per week (20 hours per week part time)
In this role you will work as part of our Housing Services Team to provide day to day support for residents in our homeless project.
Managing your own caseload of residents you will be able to draw upon your past experience as a support worker in a low-medium needs hostel. You will provide advice and support on a 121 basis to clients on education and training, welfare benefits, resettlement and substance misuse.
You will be able to undertake assessments and support plans and have a basic knowledge of Supporting People and the QAF framework.

Supported Housing Assistants (SHA) x10

40 hours per week on shift rota, including evenings, nights & weekends
Supported Housing Assistants (SHA’s) are responsible for the front office within our Housing Department. As part of the front line team, you will provide security duties, advice and support on rent related issues and act as the “one stop shop” for our 250 residents.
This is a busy and highly charged department so you should have previous knowledge of working in a customer service environment, possess excellent personal and diplomatic skills and be able to work on your own initiative.

Resident Involvement Officers (RIO) x 2

Salary: £24,000 pa
37.5 hours per week, mainly evenings and weekends
Resident participation and involvement is key to our work with young people and we are recruiting two people to this role to enable us to develop our Housing Services to our 250 clients.
The RIO’s will co-ordinate and deliver high quality innovative consultation procedures and identify opportunities to develop and promote economic and community based initiatives to benefit the residents and the wider community in which they live.
You should have significant experience of working in resident involvement, housing management or supported housing environment. You must be able to effectively communicate with staff and external organisations along with the ability to network with professional and community groups.
